H&H Resolution-O-Rama 2009

Greetings, everyone! This post is here to let you know that there will NOT be a show tonight. I know you’re sad. The team here at Horseshoes & Hand Grenades was just as excited as you are, and not having a show is equivalent to watching somebody kick a puppy. It’s utterly devastating. The good news is that we have come up with something to help keep that little puppy from being kicked so hard: The H&H Resolution-O-Rama 2009!

What we want from you kind people is your resolutions for what you want to achieve in this brand new year. We’re heading into the 010′s…or just 10′s..or 2010′s…I still haven’t figured out how to say it, and we want to know what you aim to do with this new year that you’ve been given. Going to lose weight? Swim with sharks? Run along side the wildebeasts of Africa? We want to know!

All you have to do is get yourself a webcam, or a buddies computer equipped with one, and drop a video of yourself on youtube of you telling us what you are going to do with this next year. Try to keep it under 30 seconds. We’re going to put together this video of all you guys and put it on our H&H YouTube page for all to see. Don’t worry! Ash and I will totally be doing this too. Please submit all entries by Thursday, January 7.

Merry CHRISTMAS HnH Fans! We hope you are prepared to enjoy our amaZing Christmas episode we have provided you :D It is chock full of refreshing Dear Santa’s, twinkling Wish Lists, dazzeling bum sniffers, and we might even have some maids a milking.

Episode 138 – Two Humps Are Better Than One

Image by Eryck WebbIt’s a cold one up here at H&H headquarters. I’m sitting at the H&H command station looking out the window at a winter wonderland, or so they say. I did go out and build a snowman..or snow lump. The snow doesn’t pack as well as it should for building stuff. Anyway, the important thing is that I know I’m not the only one knee deep in this fluffy white stuff, and we all need some kind of entertainment. That being said, I am so very proud to present to you all the next crazy installment of Horseshoes & Hand Grenades. We talked about Hooters, camels, monkeys, and cash…but not necessarily in the same story. Have a blast!

Episode 137 – You Stuck Tuna Where?

blind truckerI haven’t slept at all this week (averaging 4 hours a night), and I was exhausted before the show. Being the genius that I am, I decided to set my alarm ant take a 45 min nap b4 the show. Somehow the alarm was set for AM instead of PM…. this being the case, I woke up 4 mins before the show, FREAKED out and was a bit mentally awol during the first 15 mins :P Stephen also did something neat with the camera for the first time.

When I woke up, we talked about steak slapping, stuffed panthers, teeth jewelry, bad breath, and the differences between cardboard and glass :D

Shout outs to Brandon for joining us! :) We love newbies! :D

nathanfillion1So, I have decided that my school-girl obsession with Nathan Fillion will ONLY burn out… if I manage to get the man with the awesome hair on HnH. So, I need to know that you guys will help me in my desperate plot to get a space cowboy on our awesome show. For some reason, I don’t think wearing a boob shirt will help me out in this situation :D

Episode 136 – 1st Girlfriend Is Pleased

dogsuitSo, ONE of the cohosts drank again today and had to do the show a bit tipsy. Stephen might eventually learn not to be a sot, but let’s not hold our breath. We had a new listener in chat today (deadpat!), and we hope to see him back next Thursday! He was awesome ^_^

Well, I honestly cannot remember half the show–what with Stephen being drunk and all–but I am pretty sure I laughed the majority of it. Sometimes I squeak when I laugh… so Im sure there was a lot of squeaking.

Well, Stephen is off for more vodka, and I am off to drink water >_>

DRUNK COHOST!

Fans! Glorious, wonderful, fans! Have I told you how much I loved you? I’m not just saying that, either. I LOVE you. You make my Thursdays so amaZing. On a side note, we will be doing the show tomorrow due to an unforseen drunkness of one of your cohosts (Stepohen cannot keep his alcohol down! poor guy… support group maybe?).

We will do the show TOMOTTOR (Friday) at 8pm est. Hopefully, by then, Stephen will be sober. The man really likes his rum :D
